Ichendorf's Vegetables Tomatoes Bowl belongs to the Vegetables collection, conceived by designer Alessandra Baldereschi, whose work draws on forms and colours found in the kitchen garden. Ichendorf works in a long-established tradition of glassblowing, each piece shaped by hand rather than turned out by machine. Its rounded, gently irregular form gives each piece a distinctive presence, whether placed on a laid table or an open shelf. The form brings the visual character of the kitchen garden to a table setting.
