Ichendorf works in a long-established tradition of glassmaking shaped by hand at the lamp rather than by machine, and the Ichendorf Tomato Tumbler carries that craft to the everyday table. Designed by Alessandra Baldereschi for the Vegetables collection, the tumbler takes its form from the garden, echoing the rounded silhouette of a ripened tomato. The result is a drinking vessel with genuine presence, understated in daily use yet quietly characterful among plainer glassware. Being made by hand, no two are quite alike, which is much of the appeal.
